I am a theologian, writer and educator based in Belfast. I have worked in Nepal, Ireland and Northern Ireland as a development worker, parish minister, peace‑builder and lecturer in missiology and practical theology.
For seven years I taught at the Belfast School of Theology, where I led postgraduate programmes, developed online learning models, supervised research, and contributed to academic policy on ethics and the use of AI in higher education.
I have also worked as a parish minister in a multi-ethnic congregation in Limerick, Ireland and in a congregation in East Belfast involved community development work in local estates.
My main interest is the relationship between faith, culture and the global economic system, drawing on biblical reflection, missiology and lived experience in diverse communities.
I hold a PhD from Queen’s University Belfast and have published books, journal articles and reports on mission, peacebuilding and Christian engagement with society.
I live in Belfast and am a Companion of the Northumbria Community, taking an active part in its Belfast group.
